Illinois’ Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA) offers apprenticeship and training programs to increase representation of Black, Latino and other equity eligible communities in the renewable energy industry.

Climate Jobs Illinois, in partnership with HIRE360, is supporting 11 workforce programs across the state to provide comprehensive career training for clean energy construction careers. The Climate Works Pre-Apprenticeship Program offers:

  • Industry-recognized credentials and licenses
  • Career exploration with over 30 construction trades
  • Stipends during training and financial assistance
  • Opportunities to tour job sites and meet professionals and leaders in construction
